About us

Trishfields Child Care Services opened in October 2006 and is located on a small newly built development just off Victoria Road, Bidford on Avon. Our home is just a short walk to Bidford Primary School and the business is jointly managed by Tricia Field and Alison Field, a mother and daughter partnership.

Our overall aim
Our overall aim is simply to provide high quality professional childcare in a loving and stimulating environment, where children in our care will feel emotionally secure and happy, within a relaxed home from home surroundings. We are very aware of how important it is for Parents/Carers to feel confident and at ease about entrusting their child/children to our care and therefore, we fully understand the importance of Parents/Carers spending as much time as they need to get to know us first.

Proprietor - Tricia Field
Briefly, I have worked in the childcare sector for approximately 8 years and I am a qualified Nursery Practitioners (N.N.E.B). I am Ofsted registered; a member of the National Child minding Association (NCMA), and I hold public liability insurance.
During my time in childcare I have worked in various management positions, however my roles were always very much ‘hands on’, working closely and caring for children 0 – 8 years. I have available for Parents / Carers to view a portfolio detailing certificates, references and our curriculum vitae.
I am married to Tom, have 2 grown up children and I am also a very proud grandmother.

Courses Undertaken
Basic Food Hygiene, First Aid, Child Protection, Birth to Three Matters, and Introduction to Child minding, Promoting Positive Behaviour, Level 1 Certificate in Deaf Awareness.

Co-Worker - Alison Field
I am Ofsted registered, a member of the National child minding Association (NCMA), and I hold public liability insurance. I have completed and hold current up to date qualifications in... First Aid, Child Protection and Basic Food Hygiene. I am also starting the Diploma in Home Based Childcare in September 2007. I have a young daughter, Sophie who is cared for here with the other children. I have experience with working with children from the ages of 0-11 and I have previously worked in a private day nursery and been a volunteer in a junior and infant school.

We are both fully committed to providing a professional childcare service, which meets the needs of the children and their Parents/Carers. We (including Tom Field) all have current Enhanced Criminal Record Checks in place.
